AWS/CWI & ICC SPECIAL INSPECTOR
Education/Experience:  AWS/CWI, ICC reinforced concrete, & ICC Structural Steel Certifications required; Nuclear Gauge, ACI, and other ICC Certifications preferred. Construction or related field experience.  Must have good writing skills and working computer knowledge.  Must have good driving record, a dependable truck, be drug-free.
Position Summary: With AWS/CWI, ACI, & ICC certifications, performs field duties which include post-tension and conventional reinforcing steel inspection, concrete placement inspection, masonry inspection, sampling and testing, high-strength bolting and welding inspections.  Must use a laptop computer to provide written documentation of test results and observations on a daily basis.  Good communication skills and excellent client service skills required.

FIELD REPRESENTATIVE – Soil
Position Summary: Responsibilities include performing field observations and testing of soil and rock materials and utilizing a nuclear gauge to determine moisture-density content of soil and rock. During the testing and observation process accurate and detailed documentation is gathered and communicated via laptop. Good communication skills and excellent client service skills required.
Education/Experience: A minimum of two years T&O construction or closely related experience required. Current nuclear gauge, ACI and ICBO certifications a plus.  Schooling in Earth Sciences, Geology, Civil Engineering or Construction Management helpful.
Skills Proactive, problem solver, proven track record of dependability, keen attention to detail, and well-developed communication skills and excellent client service skills are very important to the success of this position. Have the ability to work and succeed as a team and resourceful when working alone in the field. Enjoy learning and sharing knowledge with others for the success of the company. Must have a good understanding of the construction industry, and be computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer applications.
Candidate Criteria: Must have a reliable construction site appropriate vehicle, a good driving record, and be drug-free.

PROJECT ENGINEER
Education/Experience Necessary: MS in Geotechnical Engineering; California PE registration(required); 3-5 years professional experience; seismic and GIS experience a plus; proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products.
Position Summary: Design of earth-retaining structures, slope stabilization, remedial grading, landslide mitigation, development of plans and specifications, foundation design, settlement analyses, liquefaction analyses seismic evaluation. Development of geotechnical recommendations for construction for private and public projects. Field work includes exploratory logging, observation of pier and pile installation, and observation of grading operations. On a project-specific, multi-disciplinary basis, perform defined field, analytical, and project administrative responsibilities with regular technical review from project management, particularly focused on non-routine matters. May be assigned increasingly more complex, non-routine tasks with review and oversight from project management. Candidates must have a good driving record, excellent communication/writing skills and be drug free. Candidates will ideally have business/relationship development skills while possessing a strong commitment to serving clients and peers.

STAFF ENGINEER
Education/Experience Necessary: BS degree in Civil Engineering as minimum; 1-3 years-professional relevant internship experience helpful. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Products a plus.
